Wee Scottish Toun
Robert Conning

I've travelled the world

Roon and roon

But I'd rather be back

In that wee Scottish toun.

I wouldn't be happy

In a mansion on the moon

When my roots are in a place

Called Stewarton Toun.

When I'm not so good

And feel a wee bit doon

I just think of Bonnie Scotland

And my friends in Stewarton Toun.

It's been far too long

So I'm coming home soon

To the land of kilts and heather

To my wee Scottish toun.

Yes Scotland is for me

From the cradle to the tomb

For there's not much wrong

With a wee Scottish Toun
